Obituary for Billie Lou LeSage Billie Lou (Sweet) LeSage passed away Sunday afternoon at the Springs in Butte. She was born October 1, 1923 in Butte, Montana to William T. and Lula A. (Thompson) Sweet. She attended McKinley Grade School, graduated from Butte High School in 1941 and then went on to Montana State College in Bozeman, graduating with the class of 1945. She was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. On June 2, 1947 she and Walter E. “Wallie” LeSage were married in Butte. They were happily married for 62 years until his death on May 6, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Judy LeSage Fulker and son Don LeSage. Billie Lou was a member of Chapter AC, PEO Sisterhood and the St. James Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, Bill LeSage, son-in-law, Gary Fulker, sister-in-law, Dorothy Shannon, grandchildren: Kevin LeSage, Brian Fulker, Erin Gonzales, Megan Fulker, Ira LeSage, Austin LeSage, Quinn LeSage and her best friend, Margorie Kautzman. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date and will be announced. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
