Obituary of Wade Harvey Darwin Wade Harvey, 87, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Harvey, son of McKinley and Ethel (Hampton) Harvey, was born July 18, 1930, in Hunter, Missouri. He had been a civilian employee for the United States Army at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Mr. Harvey enjoyed hunting, fishing (building his own fishing boat) and he was an avid gardener. He was also a former Boy Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher and he proudly served our country in the U. S. Air Force. On December 12, 1954, he was married to Eva Thurman in Winfield, Kansas, and she survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Darla Waller of Anchorage, Alaska, McKinley Harvey of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Johnny Richardson of Doniphan; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 siblings, Mary and Gilbert. Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; 3 children, Rodney Harvey, Roger Harvey and Angela Tillery; and 8 siblings, Pearl Whitaker, Gaylord Harvey, Eli Harvey, Murle Harvey, Howard (Mick) Harvey, and infants Idabelle, June and Marjorie. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, May 3, 2018, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jim Page officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
