Obituary of Grace Marsh Funeral Services for Grace Marie Marsh of Elsberry, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Karen Taylor, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, MO, will officiate with burial in the Asbury Cemetery near Foley, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be John Berryman, Chris Berryman, Frank Berryman, Kevin Moulton, Mick Bonner and Randy Shields. Mrs. Marsh, 86, passed away Friday evening, April 27, 2018 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born January 11, 1932 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Ross Ralph and Ruth Ann Burpo Chitty. Grace was raised by the Snider family near Troy, MO and attended the Taylor School. Grace was united in marriage on August 12, 1984 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Foley, MO to Kenneth Marsh. A caring and loving homemaker, she was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church near Foley. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ruth Chitty; the “Mom & Dad” who raised her, Goldie & Claude Snider; her siblings: Minnie Alta White, George Edward Chitty, Lillie Lee Bonner and William Ralph Chitty; her husband, Kenny Marsh; and her son, Bobby Morgan, who died January 30, 2016. Survivors include her sister, Myrtle Dean Graves of Foley; one grandson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Memorials may be made to Taylor Terrace (for the Community Room) in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
