Obituary for Shirley Ann Duke A Celebration of Life service for Shirley Ann Duke, 72 of Michie, TN is set for Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Old Union Cemetery in Morris Chapel, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 9:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born September 30, 1945 in Hall, TN., Shirley was a retired seamstress and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Lambert of Michie, TN and Edwin Duke of Michie, TN; daughters, Beverly Smith of Michie, TN , Tammy Sample (Rob) of Booneville, MS , Candy Coln (Gary) of Corinth, MS and Leslie Wood (Eddy) of Corinth; 10 grandchildren, Matthew Thorne (Stephanie), Nicholas Duke (Rechelle), Anthony Lambert, K.C. Coffman, Brent Lambert, Alex Duke, Logan Coln, Kayley Wood, Jack Wood and Bryce Wood; great grandchildren, Annalisia Lambert, Brent Lambert, Jr.; Hunter Lambert and Kyson Thorne; brother, Ray Rickman of Corinth; sisters, Patricia Moore (Alvia) of Ramer, TN; Kathryn Lambert (Doug) of Selmer,TN; Glenda Reaves of Corinth and Maybelle Thrasher (Thomas) of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Bruce Reaves, Allan Reaves, Ronnie Lambert, Mark Lambert, Anthony Lambert, Bubba Rickman, Logan Coln and Alex Duke. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Duke; father, Johnny Alexander Rickman and her mother, Christine Joan Fowler Rickman. Bro. George Kyle will officiate the service.
