Obituary for Todd Richard Rolek Todd Rolek finished his race, crossing the finish line into the arms of his Savior on Friday, May 18, 2018 at his home in Rosemount, MN. He was 61. He was born on June 18, 1956 to Gary and Vivian (Pearson) Rolek in Oak Park, IL. He graduated from Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park, MN in 1974. He received an Associate Degree from Metro State University. He was employed at several places over his working career including Farrell’s Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlour, Pannekoeken Huis and for the past 26 years at Best Buy Headquarters in Richfield, MN. His interests knew no bounds. Playing guitar, sailing, all things math, spending quality time with friends, working sound systems and running to name a few. He was married on January 23, 1985 to Gerine Pongratz. Together they raised two daughters. Through the years his cup overflowed with lifelong friends. He is survived by his wife Gerine, daughters, Erin and Tegan; his parents; brothers, Timm (Trisha), Tery (Kris), and Troy (Mary). Father-in-law, Robert Pongratz; loved nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and mother-in-law, Rita Pongratz. The Funeral will be at 11:00 am on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Community of Hope Lutheran Church, 14401 Biscayne Ave W, Rosemount, MN, with visitation from 9:00-11:00 am. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers Todd askes that you perform an act of kindness.
