Marjorie Ann Kruchoski 2018

Marjorie Ann Kruchoski July 20, 1930 – May 2, 2018 Marjorie Ann Kruchoski, 87, peacefully joined Dad and many loved ones with our Lord in heaven early on the morning of May 2. She was born Marjorie Tomsich, the daughter of Frank and Frances Tomsich, and has been a lifelong resident of Chisholm. She was a proud member of the Class of 1948, ventured to New York to help with family expenses and soon after returning home met the love of her life, Bill Kruchoski. They were married at… Read More » St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm on September 12, 1953. Marge often spoke of the friendships she made working at the Virginia shirt factory and cherished her years as Kitchen Supervisor at the Range Center. Marge’s life was always focused on family, her children, her parents, in-laws, brothers, sisters and all of the relatives that seemed to celebrate life on a daily basis! On May 21, 1993 Marge bravely received the gift of life – the heart of a most generous Minnesotan who gave us 25 more years with our loving Mom & Grandma. Our sincerest appreciation to the staff of Abbott Northwestern Hospital Transplant Team. These years, though filled with doctors and prescriptions were truly overshadowed by the the joys of marriages, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She planned family trips to Mexico, holiday celebrations and summer weeks at the cabin. Marge enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and was a master of her puzzles on the iPad Pro! She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, her parents, her sisters, Lorraine and Joanne, and her brother Ed. Marge is survived by her children; Ron and Nancy of Chisholm, Marie and Jon Nelson of Duluth, Gene and Jan of Chanhassen, Carol and Charlie Brown of Hermantown. Her brothers; Charles(Pat) Tomsich of Chisholm and Frank Tomsich Jr.(Jan) of Balkan and grandchildren Peter and Phoebe Kruchoski, Jakob and Kim Kruchoski, Joel and Casey Nelson, Julia and Blake Meyer, Ashley Kruchoski, Jaclyn and Joshua Pedretti, Cameron and Mara Nelson and Jenna Wagner; great grandchildren, Skye, William, Dylan, Jaklyn, Andie, Zachary, Colton, Samuel with many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marge will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 5 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment will be in Chisholm Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Range Center in Chisholm, Communication Center State Services for the Blind (www.mnssb.org) or Chisholm Community Foundation (ccfmn@qwestoffice.net).
