Obituary for Mrs. Mabel Anna Besonen Age 90, passed away May 3, 2018. Mae left her home and family to be with God Our Father, and with Jesus our redeemer. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Kalina; brother, Elvin; husband, Clinton Besonen and daughter, Karen (Chaffee). Survived by sons, Brian (Gloria), Greg; grandchildren, Sheila (Dan) Heiss, Tina (Richard) Carroll; great grandchildren, Drake, Ariel, Roman, Vanessa, Paige and great great grandchild, Elias. Mae worked side by side with Clinton in the Parks and Recreation Division of the Minnesotan DNR for over 20 years and afterwards spent 11 years as a District #181 Food Service employee at the Brainerd Middle School. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 20th at 12 Noon with Visitation one hour prior and Luncheon afterwards next door at the VFW. Arrangements are with Washburn McReavy Funeral Chapel located at 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. Coon Rapids, MN.
