Obituary for Betty Lou Kruger Betty Lou Kruger age 84, of Austin, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Our House assisted living facility. Betty Lou was born on July 30, 1933 at her home in Austin, Minnesota to George and Catherine (Weiss) Holgate. Betty will be remembered for her passion for bingo, western movies, collecting dolls, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Linda Stigney, Stillwater, MN, Dona (Kirk) True-Johnson, Stillwater, MN, Toy Mehus, Austin, MN; daughter-in-law Stephanie Kruger, Austin, MN; brother, Richard (JoAnn) Holgate, Austin, MN; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and caring friends Bonnie and Rachel. Betty is preceded in death by her children Danny, Bernard, and Sylvia; her parents; her brother Alvin La Roque and sister Jacqueline Sukow. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Mayer Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
