Obituary for William Hennessey WILLIAM DANIEL HENNESSEY William Daniel Hennessey, 66 of Cass City, died following a short illness, Monday, May 28, 2018 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus, Saginaw. He was born June 16, 1951 in Cass City to Daniel Joseph and Stella Elizabeth (Patch) Hennessey. Bill graduated from Cass City High School. He worked at Saginaw Steering Gear for many years retiring in 1995. Bill enjoyed cooking and was a talented baker. Bill enjoyed shooting pool and competed in several area leagues. He was quite a talker, easily starting conversations with friends he hadn’t met yet. Bill loved to socialize and family gatherings were very important to him. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and was very interested in their lives. Bill is survived by his daughter, Angela “Angie” (Don) Burnette of Cass City; son, Bill (Heather) Hennessey of Cass City; grandchildren: Zack, Zoey, Makayla; brothers: Bob (Kathy) Hennessey of Northville, Ben (Jan) Hennessey of Greenville; sister, Sue Hennessey of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Deb Hennessey of Bay City; former wives and friends: Linda Barrons of Cass City, Sandra Hennessey of Gagetown; nieces and nephews: Nathan (Amber) Hennessey, Ben Hennessey Jr, Aimee Hennessey, Matt (Denise) Hennessey, Sarah (Collin) Wyckoff, Josh Parker, Candi Parker, Kara Hennessey. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandbabies: William Daniel Hennessey; Gavin Kenneth Hennessey; brothers: Robin Paul Hennessey, David Hennessey; nephews: Zachary Hennessey, Michael Hennessey. Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for William will be: Nathan Hennessey, Ben Hennessey, Matt Hennessey, Zack Burnette, Tyler Hennessey and John Jacques. Memorials may be made to Tuscola County Meals on Wheels.
