Obituary for Tara Faye Board TARA FAYE BOARD Tara Faye Board, 41, of Deford died unexpectedly May 9, 2018 in her home. She was born October 30, 1976 in Pontiac to Roger and Jean (Evance) Board. Tara graduated from Cass City High School in 1993 where she was a Varsity cheerleader. She earned an Associate’s Degree in automotive marketing from Northwood University. She loved spending time with her daughters. She enjoyed having bonfires with them and she threw them the best birthday parties. Tara enjoyed cheering for her favorite team, the Detroit Red Wings. She was a fan of Marilyn Monroe and collected Coca-Cola memorabilia. Tara was always eager and willing to take in stray pets and was fond of her favorite cat, Bodhi. Tara is survived by her daughters: Alexis Faith Board, Madison Grace Haley; her parents, Roger and Jean Board of Cass City; ex-husband, Michael Denney Haley of Caro; sister, Amanda Faith Board of Caro; brother, Aaron (Holly) Board of Sarasota, FL; two nieces: Riley Board, Lilah Board; grandmother, Shirley Evance of Norway, MI; aunts: Beth (Bill) Marchetti of Norway, MI; Mona (Pat) Servia of Norway, MI. She was preceded in death by her uncle, David Board; grandfather, Wallace Evance; grandparents, Cletus and Mary Jane Board. Private funeral service was held in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City.
