BEVERLY – Joseph M. Pasquarello, 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Beverly on the afternoon of Friday, May 25, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of Beverly (Benson) Pasquarello. Joe was born in Beverly, Mass. in 1935, the eldest son of the late Dominic and Concetta (Menesale) Pasquarello. Joe had… Read More » many fond memories of his days playing football at St. John’s Prep., and as a walk-on at Boston College. He later received a degree in Finance from Bentley University. Joe worked for many years as an accountant for the Massachusetts State Lottery, and as a forensic auditor for the Massachusetts Inspector General’s Office until his retirement. Married in 1957, Joe shared more than 60 years of marriage with his loving wife, Beverly. They raised four children together at their North Beverly home, where they have resided for the past 50 years. Joe was a long time parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Beverly. He volunteered his time doing tax returns for seniors at the Beverly Senior Center, as a CCD teacher at St. Mary’s and St. John’s of Beverly, and as a Beverly Little League coach over many years. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of the Beverly Farms chapter of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife Beverly; four children: David Pasquarello, and his wife Shiyun, of Kennebunk, ME; Diane (Pasquarello) McDermott, and her husband, Thomas, of Syracuse, NY; Donald Pasquarello, M.D., and his wife Gerda, of Beverly; and Daniel Pasquarello, Esq., and his wife Amy, of Wenham; twelve grandchildren: Benson, Elise, and Emilia Pasquarello; Megan, Sara, and Joseph McDermott; Michael, Amy and her husband Allen Jorquera, and Donald Pasquarello; and Cate, Abigail, and Hannah Pasquarello; one sister, Joanne (Pasquarello) LeClerc of Beverly; and one brother, John Pasquarello, and his wife Janice, of Littleton, CO; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, James Pasquarello, all of Beverly. Joe will be remembered most for his strong faith and his love of family. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch Street, Beverly, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly.
