Catherine A. “Katie” (Pike) Recupero, age 51, of Lynn, died on Monday, May 28, 2018, at North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital, following a brief illness. Katie was born in Lynn in 1966, the daughter of the late George R., Sr. and Jean (MacPherson) Pike. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She worked for many years at Stop & Shop in Lynn, holding multiple positions. Katie had an important impact on her family’s lives. She was a caregiver for her mom and for her many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. She enjoyed watching movies, walking and had a deep love for children. Katie was a kind and loving person who left many nieces and nephews who loved her very much and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Katie is survived by her husband, David Recupero of Lynn; her daughter, Susan Recupero; her loving sisters Mary “Sister” Pike and her companion Burton Page of Saugus and Jeannie Pike and her companion John McNulty of Lynn; her brother Franklin Pike of Lynn; her aunt Mary O’Brien of Lynn; her nieces and nephews Kelly McNulty, George Page, Amanda Estey, Franklin Pike and Samantha Pike; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Jessie Recupero and many other close family and friends including Jessica and Michelle Recupero. In addition to her parents George Sr. and Jean, Katie was predeceased by her brother George Pike, Jr. and her nephew A.J. Pike. At the family’s request, Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Arrangements entrusted to the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOMES, LYNN.
