Rodney Lyn Kidd, 50, Myersville, died Tuesday May 2 in Capon Bridge, WV. Born in Frederick on September 23, 1967 he was a son of the late Douglas Carlton and Carolyn Brunner Kidd. He was employed as a handyman and was a member of the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville. He loved going to his cabin in WV, fishing, hunting and the outdoors and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. He is survived by siblings Pam Brickhouse (Delt) of Thurmont, Sherrie Specht and fiancee Brian Smith of Frederick Douglas Kidd(Laura) of Myersville, Randy Kidd (Kelli) of Middletown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Kristen Kidd, Jennifer Kidd, Tyler and Nathan Specht and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be private.
