Obituary of Earl Sutton Earl Junior Sutton, 78, of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Med Star Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was one of ten children to the late Leronia Sutton and Mary Anne Mackey Sutton. He served in the US Army for 18 years and also retired from the US Postal Service. He loved going fishing, playing pinochle, traveling and spending time with his great grandchildren Earl is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Gladys Louise Cropper Sutton; two step grandchildren, Selena Brice & husband, Jarrett, of Elkton, MD, and Vanessia Gibson of Richmond, VA; a niece, Brenda Torney & husband, Dwayne, of Bowie, MD; four nephews, Roy Sutton & wife, Lisa, of Columbus, OH, Michael Sutton & wife, Marilyn, of Indianapolis, IN, Marcus Sutton of Columbus, OH, and Jerry Sutton & wife, Lucy, of Philadelphia, PA; four step great grandchildren; step son, Carl Miles, Jr. of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Tiffany Stanley of Owings Mills, MD, Shawn Stanley & wife, Marquita, of Owings Mills, MD, Tiffany Brown of Richmond, VA, and Carl Miles, III of Salisbury. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow with military honors at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Officiating will be Rev. Mills of Princess Anne. Arrangements are in the care of Stewart Funeral Home, by Holloway & Downey, 821 West Rd., Salisbury, MD 21801. Online condolences can be given at thestewartfuneralhome.com.
