Obituary for Beverly Astbury (Perry) Sedgwick — Beverly Anne Astbury, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep May, 19, 2018 at the Island Nursing Home. She was born in Sorrento, September 21, 1938 the daughter of the late Edgar and Shirley Dorothy (Young) Perry. She was the oldest of five children. Beverly worked as a CNA at the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital for 33 years. She is survived by her three children and their extended families; Daniel Briggs, Wanda Briggs Astbury both of Sedgwick and Shelly Briggs Spivey of Ellsworth; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Perry; sisters, Esther Clement and Donna Holmes and families. She is predeceased by husband, Henry Astbury; sister, Darlene; favorite grandmother, Annie Moore; favorite uncle, Durrell Moore and many other relatives. Per Beverly’s wishes, there will be no services. Many thanks from the family to the staff at the Island Nursing Home. Contributions in Beverly’s memory may be made to the Island Nursing Home, 587 N.
