Obituary for Leslie “Lessie” Mitchell Funeral services for Mrs. Leslie “Lessie” Mitchell will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Leland Briggs and Reverend Bruce Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana. Mrs. Mitchell, age 74, of Pollock, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Mitchell worked at Central State Hospital as an LPN for nearly 30 years. She was a faithful member of Bentley Pentecostal Church, Bentley, Louisiana. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved God, her family, hummingbirds, babies and cooking. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, W.T. Mitchell; parents, Paul and Hazel Durand Sneed; one son, Billy Ray Mitchell. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Rowzee (Rick) of Pollock and LeTicia Byrd (Paul) of Pollock; one sister, Margaret Ann Mills of Tennessee; grandchildren, Kassandra Hooter (Chad), Brandi Catteruccia, Will Rogers, Taylor Byrd, Erik Gilbert, Michael Mitchell, Cort Mitchell, Kambri Mitchell and Josh Mitchell; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may visit on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
