Obituary for Jessie M. Ritchey Frankfort – Jessie Mae George Ritchey, age 91, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Frankfort. Services for Mrs. Ritchey will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Everett Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. service time on Wednesday. Mrs. Ritchey was born in West Point, Kentucky on August 21, 1926 to the late Jasper Leo and Jessie Mae Elzy George. She was united in marriage to Irvin Thomas Ritchey who also preceded her in death. She retired as a clerk from the Kentucky State Government Department of Transportation. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jasper Leo George, Jr., and Katherine Louise Bevars. She is survived by her son, Donald Lane (Betty); grandchildren, Staci Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (John) and Donald Christopher Lane; great grandchildren, Lindsay Elizabeth Fitzpatrick and Leslie Anne Fitzpatrick; several nieces and nephews, and by her beloved canine companion, Molly Mae. Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Faith Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. To send a memorial gift to the family of Jessie M.
