Maysville – Charles R. “Bob” Fritz, 90, passed away Sunday May 13, 2018 at the Care Center at Kenton Point. Bob, the eldest of six children, was born February 21, 1928 in Ripley Ohio to the late Charles and Katherine Klump Fritz. He was retired after 38 years at Kroger where he worked as head grocery clerk. In 1953 he married Frances Byron who died in 2005. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Bernard and Raymond Fritz and a sister Katherine Ann Turner. Services for Charles R. Fritz will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 with Rev. Jacob Straub officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, Maysville. Pallbearers will be Rusty Fritz, Kelly Fritz, David Poole, Donald Turner, Mike Huff, and Jack Leyendecker.
