Auburn – Thelma June Acker, 88 of Auburn died Tuesday May 29, 2018 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. She was born June 10, 2018 in Hamilton to Byron and Malinda (Mann) Johnson. Thelma was the Housekeeping Supervisor at DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn for 21 years before her retirement. She is survived by 3 daughters, Marsha Jones of Auburn, Diana (Richard) Boyd of Waterloo and Beverly (Robert) Emerick of Auburn. There are 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son in law, Ron Jones, a granddaughter, Julie McMaken, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be 11 am Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the Waterloo Freewill Baptist Church, 2833 CR 27, Waterloo with Rev Ron Stambaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn. Calling is Monday from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn and also 1 hour prior to the service Tuesday from 10 to 11 at the church.
