Patricia Marie McNally, 60, of Michigan City, passed away unexpectedly at 7:12 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. Anthony Hospital, Michigan City. She was born March 8, 1958, in Schaumburg, IL, to James and Virginia (Buchanan) McNally. Patricia was a jail deputy for La Porte County Sheriff’s Office for four years. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Ancilla College, May 6, 2017. Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Porte. She enjoyed being a mother… Read More » and grandmother. Patricia especially enjoyed traveling with the grandchildren or visiting them. Patricia was family oriented and was proud of her children’s accomplishments. Surviving are four children, Melissa (Travis) Mortimore of Kendallville, Indiana, Michelle (James) Garcia of Alvin, Texas, Michael (Susan) McLemore of Michigan City and Robert (Faith) McLemore of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister, Mary Ellen of La Porte; one brother, Brian Sean McNally of Michigan City; and thirteen grandchildren, Jordyn, Kelsey, Jade, Kylee, Ashley, Hayden, Carine, Mandi, Liam, Molly, Kamden, Bailey and Skye. Preceding her in death were her parents, James McNally and Virginia (Buchanan) Lawson; and three brothers, James McNally Jr, Timothy Lee and Michael John McNally. A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 Bach St., La Porte, with Rev. Ian Williams officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W.
