Baby (J.C., Jr) Beachem was born on December15, 1942 to the late J.C. and Maranzie (Miller) Beachem Sr. in Memphis, Tennessee. He passed from this life on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Summit City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 75. Baby attended Central High School where he played basketball and ran track. After high school he served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era from November 18, 1964 until January 12, 1967. During his life he worked for International Harvester and Fort Wayne Community Schools. He loved to fish, dance, work on cars, watch sports, and listen to music. He leaves to cherish many memories to his wife, Cynthia Beachem; a daughter, Lachae White; a son, Keston (Amber) Beachem; raised as his children, Austin and Justen Hunter; 4 sisters, Metrice Smith, Brenda Williams, Tornette (Herman) Cummings and Theresa (Keith) Samuel; 5 grandchildren, Tristen Carden, Alexis Weldon, Keston Beachem Jr., Dominick Beachem, Keā€™Mare Beachem and 8 others raised as grandchildren; one great-grandchild with one on the way; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son, Detrick Ellis and a brother, Rufus Beachem. He will be laid to rest in Marion National Cemetery
