Obituary for Johnnie Wayne Clubb Johnnie Wayne Clubb, age 75, of Forrest, IL entered God’s Kingdom on February 27, 2018 surrounded by family at home. John was born August 13, 1942 to the late Charles and Leola Mae (Davis) Clubb in Cobden, IL. His childhood was spent at the family farm in Cobden, Illinois. At age 18, he traveled to Joliet, IL where he began working at Caterpillar Corporation. His commute led him to meet the love of his life, Marilyn Thompson. They were married in February 1964. They made Morris IL their home and started a family. John later started work at Alumax Mills Products in Morris and worked there until the plant closed in 1994. He then started his landscaping company which he ran until he retired. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his sons, Brian (Lisa) Clubb, Robert (Terri) Clubb, Timothy (Kimberly) Clubb, and Jonathan (Tasha) Clubb; grandchildren: Alex (Ashlee), Nick (Lyndse), Anna, Colton, Lexi, Brexton, Jaxon, Mason, and Peyton; one brother, Donald Clubb of Centralia, KS; sisters-in-law, Beverly Berry, Char (Jerry) Watts, Linda (Vidal) Solis, and Cindy (Frank) Eartly; brother-in-law, David (Barb) Thompson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leola; sisters, Cleta Hines and Bonnie Baggett; and brothers, Carl Clubb and Charles Clubb. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Johnnie’s Life will follow at 5 p.m., officiated by Pastor Kevin Yandell of New Community Christian Church. Cremation rites will be accorded.
