Obituary for Eunice Josephine Grimes Eunice Josephine (Shaff) Grimes, 81, of Decatur, IL passed away peacefully on May 4, 2018 at Heritage Health in Mt. Zion. Eunice was born January 8, 1937 in Michigan and was raised in Pana, IL by her parents, Dwight and Alice Shaff. She worked as a secretary for C. Bendsen Sign and Graphics. Eunice devoted her life to Jesus and loved to help others. She was a member of the musical group, ” The Rockin Grandmas”. During her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bunco with friends. Eunice leaves behind to help cherish her memory her children, Brian Grimes (Valerie) of Phoenix, AZ, Dorinda Mormino of Highland, IL, Suzi Randall (David) of Decatur, IL, Rhonda Graper (Peter) of Sarasota, FL, Stephanie Eisenmenger of Villa Grove, IL; grandchildren, Logan, Brittany, Haley, Jordan, Samantha, Briana, Tanner, Taylor, AJ, Sydney, Kate, Allison; great-grandchildren, Jayla, Kaeman, Lyla, Michaela and former husband, Ronald H. Grimes (Beth) of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Shaff. Memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Family will meet with friends from 5:00 PM till 6:00 PM Friday, May 11, 2018, at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private inurnment will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery.
