Obituary for Thomas Michael Hopkins Thomas Michael Hopkins – 71 Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1946 in Mineola, NY to the late Thomas A. Hopkins and Kathleen (Hesselbacher) Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins was a talented artist who had a passion for stained glass. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed collecting Native American Artifacts. He also was an avid NHRA fan and loved watching the funny cars. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Hopkins Graham. Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law, Melissa and Nathan Hixon of Olanthe, KS; Sister, Lynn Hopkins of St. Cloud, MN; Brother and Sister-in-law, Michael and Glenda Hopkins of Valdosta, GA; Sister, Laura Hopkins of Charlotte, NC; Sister and Brother-in-law, Maureen and Bill Laber of Milwaukee, WI; Former wife and friend, Ann Marie Hopkins of Olanthe, KS; Special friend, Tracey Taylor of Thomasville, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
