Obituary for Ms. Macy Ree Tucker Barrow Statesboro, Georgia Ms. Macy Ree Tucker Barrow, age 92, died May 2, 2018, under the care of Brown’s Health & Rehabilitation and Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth “Bessie” Tucker. Ms. Barrow was a beautician and owned Macy’s Beauty Shop which she operated out of her home for many years. Ms. Barrow was a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who cherished her loved ones. Survivors include her brother Freddie Tucker (Sue), sister-in-law Charlaine Tucker Clutter, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Tommy Tucker (Della), William “Bill” Tucker (Mary Lee), Richard “Tobe” Tucker (Louise), John Howard Tucker, Mack Tucker and sisters Irene Tucker Smith (Ed), Mamie Lou Tucker Dixon (Harry Joe), Mildred Tucker Lee (Carl) and Allie Tucker Perrine (Don). A special thank you to her many care-givers over the years including Coastal Healthcare, Brown’s Health & Rehabilitation and Ogeechee Area Hospice. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 10:00am until the funeral hour at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will be at 11:00am in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson with Rev. Blake Hicks officiating, assisted by Elder Randy Waters. Interment will follow in Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Howard Tucker, John Tucker, Neal Tucker, David Tucker, Kevin Tucker and David Hicks. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O.
