Lois Bailey Kell 1919 2018

Obituary of Lois Kell Mrs. Lois Bailey Kell, age 99 of the Boardtown Community of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday morning, March 27th, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Kell was born March 26th, 1919 in Ball Ground, GA to her late parents William Henry Bailey and Azilee Dora Ann Ray Bailey. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay since 1943, and she worked for many years at Hampton Mills as a shipping clerk. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hayden Smith Kell, Sr, brothers; Ralph & Roy Bailey, and Sister: Alice Bobo. She is survived by one son: Smitty Kell of Ellijay, GA; Daughters And Sons-in-law, Lorraine & Karl Payne of Ellijay, GA; Nancy & Guido Benedit of Woodstock, GA; Grandchildren & Spouses; Sheri & Randy Brauchler of Woodstock,GA; Regina Klaric of Ellijay, GA; Karla & Scotty Abercrombie of Ellijay, GA; Michelle Pierce of Canton, GA; Emily Benedit of Riverview, FL. Five Great-Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 from the First Baptist Church Ellijay with Rev. James Holt, Pastor Glenn Cummings and Mrs. Patsy Pittman officiating and speaking. A Private family graveside interment will be in the Ellijay City Cemetery with Scotty Abercrombie, Randy Brauchler, Cameron Klaric, Nick Bailey, and Kevin Kell serving as pallbearers, and Ben L. Kiker, Charles Kiker, Jr., and Paul Kiker, Sr. serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at Logan Funeral Home.
