Jesus Onate Aguirre, age 67 of Smyrna, passed away Sunday, May 6. Funeral mass will be held 3 pm Friday, May 11 at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A Smyrna resident for over 40 years, he had owned and operated Monterrey Mexican restaurant, Cobb County’s first Mexican restaurant, for over 40 years, located first in Belmont Hills shopping center and later located adjacent to Dickson shopping center.
