Obituary for Doris Byers Sunday evening, May 20, 2018, Doris A. Byers, 87, passed away and entered the gates of Heaven. Born in Woodsfield, Ohio she later moved to Jacksonville, Florida, the Macon, Georgia. Doris moved to be close to family, which was always a priority; especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren as they arrived throughout the years. As important as children and grandchildren were, her first love was always her husband of 69 years, Dave. Doris loved to crochet, play the piano and organ and in earlier years the violin. She loved being surrounded by family during the Holiday and Birthday Celebrations. Doris was preceded in death by her son David William Byers, her parents and brother. She is survived by her husband; David Wesley Byers, daughter; Teresa Holman (Mike), grandchildren; Michael Holman (Michelle), Suzanne Hartzog (Mike), Daren Byers (Caitlin), Amanda Byers (Bo), and Corey Byers. Great grandchildren; Megan Holman, Abby and Hunter Hartzog, Alivia, Issac, Ainsley and Sophia Byers.
