Obituary of Dimple Dale Mrs. Dimple Guess Dale, age 87 of Ellijay, Ga passed Wednesday evening, March 14th, 2018 at the Wildwood Nursing Center in Jasper, GA. Mrs. Dale was born July 11th, 1930 in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Columbus Gartrell Guess and Ina Jane Sluder Guess. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Ellijay, GA. Dimple was a homemaker and loved quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dale, daughter, Janie Burgess, sons, Michael Dale and Kenneth Dale, sisters, Farris Tipton, Mary Lanning, Christine Crider and brothers Thomas Guess and Wade Guess. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Anita Dale, Dwight and Patricia Dale, and Raymond and Betty Ann Dale, all of Ellijay, GA; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; Eula Mae Ingle of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jerry Robertson officiating. Graveside interment will follow in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, March 16th, 2018 at the Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable, or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 West Emery Street, Suite 3, Dalton, GA 30720 in memory of Mrs. Dale.
