Billy “Bill” McEntyre age 87, of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Home. He was born on April 05, 1931 to the late Arie Milton and Lucy Elain McEntyre and was preceded in death by his brother, Milton McEntyre; sister, Harriette Allen and brother-in-law, Gene Allen. Mr. Mc Entyre was a veteran of the United States Army and an inspector for Lockheed-Martin for thirty-five years. He was also a member of New Hope First Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Gibson McEntyre of Dallas, GA; daughter, Vicki (Bill) Griswell of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Courtney (Tom) Sharpe of Acworth, GA, Amanda (Ben) McQuery of Mableton, GA; great-grandchildren, Thomas Shape and Liam Sharpe. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Durwood Perry and Chaplain Tommy Leonard officiating. Interment will follow the service in Georgia Memorial Park 1:00 p.m. Tom Sharpe, Ben McQuery, Gary Griswell, David McEntyre, Frank Crowe and Al Hogan will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 4pm to 8 pm. (Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements. www.samclarkfuneralhome.com)
