Obituary for Mrs. Barbara Jean Cole Barbara Jean Farner Cole, age 78, of Turtletown, TN, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Copper Basin Life Care Center. Mrs. Cole was born December 1, 1939, in Polk Co., TN, to the late Christopher Farner and the late Ruth Evans Farner. She was preceded in death by Spouse, Thomas J. Cole, Sr., Son, Thomas J. Cole, Jr., and Sister, Gertrude Faye Mayfield. Mrs. Cole attended Croft Chapel Church and enjoyed sewing, outdoor activities, and her rose garden. Survivors include Son, James Edward (Sandi) Cole, Daughter, Allison (Jason) Payne, and Brother, James Ed (Frances) Farner. Funeral services: Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 7:00 pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Renny Whittenbarger officiating. Music provided by Janice Reid. A private family graveside service will take place Wednesday morning, May 23, 2018, at 11:00 am at Zion Hill Cemetery in Turtletown, TN. The following gentlemen will serve as Honorary pallbearers: Chucky Taylor, Darren Danner, Ronnie Hensely, Kevin Thomas, Chris Foster, and Greg Taylor. The family will receive friends from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Tuesday evening, May 22, 2018, from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA.
