Paul Lambert Cooper, 69, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family, May 28, 2018. He was born to William Paul Cooper and Beulah Mae Fechte in St. Louis, Missouri on March 15, 1949. After graduating from McBride High School, he enlisted and served in the United States Air Force for four years. Paul worked as a Senior Technical Support member for the Paradyne Industry. Being the oldest of fourteen children gave him responsibilities and leadership at a young age. His wonderful work ethic was not only a top-notch quality for his career, but it made him a master of his hobbies. He loved building guitars, model airplanes, drones and woodworking. He created masterpieces and turned a piece of wood into art, but his greatest accomplishment of all came in 1993, his daughter Laura. Paul’s family describes him as an inventor. He had big dreams and would always find a way to fix or solve any task ahead. He loved the beach, grilling and his dog, Gus. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by wife Cheri Cooper; step-son Allen; daughter Laura Lozon; brothers: Michael, Steven, Joseph, Phillip, Christopher, Thomas and Robbie; sisters: Jill, Sally, Mary Kaye, Susan, and Lisa; brother-in-laws: Mike Harnetz, Rob Greuling, Mike Rommeney and Tony Rogers; sister-in-laws: Gerri, Pat, Pam, Pat, Jackie and Theresa; very close friends Suzanne Berkley, Suzanne Buise and Jamnie Rosol; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded by Tim (brother) and Brenda (sister in law). In addition to his memorial service on June 2, his family will also have a celebration of life during the annual Cooper Campout June 23.
