A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Ellen Williams of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 will be held on Saturday, May 26th, 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1711 E. 11th Avenue Tampa, FL 33605, Father Hector Cruz, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ellen was born on March 20, 1930 in Tampa, Florida to the late Eddie Williams and Pearl Douglas. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Garcia; brothers, Eddie Paul Williams and Samuel Woods; sister, Thelma Smith and niece, April Woods. She leaves to cherish her memories with her daughter-in-law, Virginia Garcia; brother, William Woods; sister, Beatrice Garrett (Floyd); nieces, Carmen Garrett-Henry, Karen Smith, Sharon Smith, Linda Darby (Andre), Sharene Woods, Maria Garrett, Dorothy Smith and Samantha Woods; nephews, Charles F. Smith III (Yolanda), Ricardo Smith (Monique), Tony Woods, Pierce Smith, Samuel Woods (Curly), Derrick Smith, Sheron Woods, Eddie Williams, Mark Williams and Timothy Williams; great friends, Susan Lopez and Betty Ann Brown and many other grand nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
