Carolyn M. (Miller) Streb, at 78 yrs of age departed her bodily life on May 23, 2018 at Pinnacle Nursing Home, Smyrna, DE. She was predeceased by her parents, William J. and Jennie Miller and her brother, William J. Miller, Jr. She is survived by her nephew, William J. Miller, III; her sister-in-law, Marie Duda, and Marie’s brother, Stanley Duda, who provided transportation for Carolyn on many occasions; her cousins, Ronald Protack and wife Sonya, Pete Protack and wife Janet, and Pat Kellmeyer. Carolyn retired from the state of Delaware, Medical Examiner’s Office. A lifelong resident of Delaware, she also resided in Wilmington, Dover, Greenwood and Rehoboth, DE. A devout Catholic, she attended Mass as often as she could at St. Elizabeth’s Church, Wilmington, and befriended many of the priests and nuns there and went on many religious retreats with them. Her nephew, Billy, and his mom, Marie, wish to thank Pinnacle Nursing Home for the excellent care and compassion given to Carolyn during the last years of her life. A special thank you to Stanley Duda for providing support to Billy and Marie in the care for Carolyn over many years. A Graveside service will be held in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carolyn name may be made to a charity of your choice.
