Obituary for Robert Weber Sr. Robert C. Weber Sr., age 89, of West Haven passed away on May 27, 2018. He was born in West Haven, son of the late Charles and Lydia Neps Weber. Bob was the loving husband of Mary Ann Zampolli Weber. Father of Robert C. (Bonnie) Weber Jr., Bryan C. (Kate) Weber, David (Felicia) Caricchio, Pat (Kathy Gavaghan) Caricchio, grandfather of Nicholas and Lucas Caricchio, brother of Judy Pelletier and Janet (Lloyd) Bauer, brother-in-law of Robert Crescenzo and also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Arlene Porter, his brothers-in-law Phillip Porter and Ronald Pelletier and his sister-in-law Lorraine Crescenzo. Bob graduated from West Haven High School, Class of 1947. Prior to his retirement he was employed for 38 years with SNET, a member of West Shore Fire Dept. as a paid utility volunteer for many years and he was a member with the 2nd Company Governor’s Foot Guard for 48 years and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Bob loved to sing, he was a member of the SNET chorus and the Arbeiter Meanner Chor. He was also a member of the West Haven Elks Lodge #1537. Bob was Santa for more than 40 years in his neighborhood and Christmas parties at various local organizations. He will be missed by his family and his many friends. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9-11o’clock at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
