Dominic Blondie Migliaro 2018

Dominic “Blondie” Migliaro of Guilford died peacefully on May 3, 2018 in Branford Hills. Born in New Haven on August 2, 1936 to the late Dominic and Lucia Mondello Migliaro, he graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1958. After serving his country with honor in the US Army he began a career as a gaming manager in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He worked and resided in Las Vegas for more than 45 years. Dominic had a diverse variety of interests. He was a huge Red Sox fan, enjoyed watching classic movies and listening to the music of Mario Lanza and Al Jolson. He leaves behind his loving family whose hearts are sad but know he is in peace. Dominic is survived by his loving and devoted sister Carmel Suntino Trappanotto, brothers John C. and Salvatore Migliaro and nieces and nephews Raymond Suntino, his godson, Lucyann DiGioia, Elizabeth Giammatei, John Migliaro, Salvatore Migliaro and Andrew Minicozzi. He was predeceased by a sister Teresa Barbuto. Dominic’s family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Branford Hills Ledgewood 3 and the staff at Sachem Hollow in Guilford where he resided for the wonderful care they gave him. Visiting hours will be Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30am in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Pl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church at 11am.
