Christopher Michael Farah, 46, of Alsace Township, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:45 pm in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Christina M. (Bray) Farah. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Christopher was the son of the late Issa A. and Patricia E. (Feilner) Farah. He was a 1990 graduate of St. Joseph’s Preparatory Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey and received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. John’s University, Jamaica, New York in 1994. Christopher was the owner and president of Farah Financial, P.C. and earned the credentials of CPA, CFE, FCPA, CVA, and CGMA. His professional memberships included the PICPA , AICPA, ACFE, and NCVA where he served on many boards and committees. Christopher was a devoted husband and father, former Cub Scout leader, and member of the WATCHDOGS of Oley Valley. He enjoyed being at the beach, watching the sunset, fishing, crabbing, traveling, hiking, camping, working on cars, and spending time outdoors. He was a fan of all types of music; he loved movies, hockey games, and Ford Mustangs; and he was a fantastic cook. In addition to his wife, Chris is survived by his children Jacob Christopher Farah, Madeleine Michelle Farah, and Issabella Rae Farah all at home. He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Katherine Olivia Farah. Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Monday, May 21, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm and Tuesday 10:00-11:00 am.
