Nancy J. Bianco, 82, was called peacefully from her home in Gulfport, FL into her eternal home on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. . Born on August 3, 1936, in DuBois, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John H. and Marjorie M. Campbell of Clear Run, DuBois. She was a graduate of Sandy High School in 1953. She was also the first Administrator of the Philip Taylor House in Brookville, Pa. Nancy had a heart for caring for anyone needing tender, loving care, a passion and voice for those who could not speak for themselves, such as unborn babies, and also a love for animals. Nancy raised her family on Main Street, Brockway, with then husband, J. Eugene Bianco, where she was a member of St. Tobias Catholic Church, volunteered for various organizations, and provided private duty personal care before returning to school to pursue her dream of nursing. She accompanied her parents to Florida in the winters to help care for them, and then even after their deaths, continued to make Gulfport, FL her home. In Florida, she also worked well beyond her retirement years at assisted living facilities and home health, as well as for any neighbor needing her nursing care and know-how. In Gulfport, she belonged to the Gulfport Senior Center and enjoyed riding and making friends on the GEMS community bus. Nancy had a devoted relationship and faith in Jesus Christ, her beloved Savior, and could frequently be spotted on her knees in prayer. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gulfport and also Pasadena United Methodist Church. Nancy will be greatly missed by friends and family who deeply loved her. She is survived by her three children: M. Michelle “Shelly” DiGilarmo (Albert “Buzz”) of DuBois, PA, Michael E. Bianco of Hollidaysburg, PA, and William J. “Bill” Bianco (Shirley) of Derby, KS. She was lovingly called “Gram” by 6 grandchildren: Nancy Camuso Doe, Grantville, PA, Mandy Camuso, Falls Creek, PA, Angelica “Angie” Camuso (Brandon Reigle), Harrisburg, PA, Meri Collins (Andy), DuBois, PA, Eric Bianco, W. Wendover, NV, and Lauren Bianco, Derby, KS. In addition, she was known as “Grandma Nancy” to 7 great-grandchildren: Thea, Aaron, Zachary, Jace, Joshua, Aleea and Layci. Nancy is survived by one brother, John “Jack” Campbell (Phyllis) of DuBois, and 2 sisters, Gloria Schultz of N. Ridgeville, OH, and Pam Bailey (Jim) of New Castle, PA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who affectionately knew her as “Aunt Nancy.” She was preceded in death by her parents and also an infant brother, Tommy. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. in DuBois on Sunday, June 3rd from 1- 3 p.m., followed by a Remembrance Service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. Although flowers are appreciated, in keeping with Nancy’s heart for service, memorials may be given to the donor’s favorite charity.
