Mr. Troy Dwight Boyd, age 31, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 26th, 2018. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Sarah Close Boyd; his three sons, William Boyd, Coa Boyd, and Elijah Boyd; his parents, Raenita Thrift, Jimmy Thrift, and Joseph Boyd; his siblings, Casey Boyd, Jamie Boyd, Sarah Boyd, Logan Boyd, J.J. Thrift, Kyle Thrift; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Boyd had several close family and friends that he also considered his siblings such as Stephanie Walters, Jason Elliott, Edan and Jennifer. Mr. Boyd enjoyed fishing, camping, family gatherings and cookouts, and working on different projects around the house or on vehicles. He was a happy, loving, social, giving Chevy loving, honest person, and could not swing a pink tack hammer to save his life. Mr. Boyd’s wishes were to be cremated and his family will hold a private memorial service for him with only close family and friends.
