Obituary of Mildred Owens & iMrs. Mildred Dean Gilley Owens age 82, of Fyffe passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. Funeral services are set for 4pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lee Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4pm Wednesday at the funeral home. She is survived by her sons, Wendell Owens and Michael (Lillie) Owens & Courtney; grandson, Nathan (Brooke) Owens; great-grandchildren, Sage and Sawyer Owens; sister, Thelma (Ray) Davis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rev. Orien and Wyvette Ledford, and Larry and Kathleen Portwood; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elsie Gilley; and husband, Carthell Owens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International or The Alabama Baptist Children’s Home.
