Obituary for Michael Stephen Stimpson Mr. Michael Stephen Stimpson, age 58, of Sand Rock, passed away Saturday May 19th at Floyd Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday May 23rd at Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 Wednesday at Perry Funeral Home. Survivors include wife Melina Stimpson, son Adam Stimpson; daughter Whitney Stimpson of Oakman; daughter –in-law Rose Willcutt; brother Todd Stimpson of Sand Rock; 5 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by son Cody Stimpson, brother Dennis Stimpson, and sister Sherri Graves. Mr. Stimpson is a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Earl and Tevis Gresham Stimpson, and he is of the Baptist faith. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
