Obituary for Ronald Sweeney Ronald (Ronnie) Sweeney, 79 of Providence Forge, VA went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2018 He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Joanne Silva and Jeri Chismar. Ronnie was survived by his loving wife of 38 years Terry. His children Ron Sweeney (Kellie), Pat Sweeney (Crystal), Michelle Loveland (Bobby), Chris Lindsey (Nancy). His 7 grandchildren Christopher, Dawson, Chase, Abby, Kamryn, Stacey, and Daniel; and his 3 brothers Bruce, Brad, and Marc Sweeney as well as many nieces and nephews. His family was his world. He always made you feel special. He was a loving husband, father, brother, Papa, favorite Uncle and friend. He was in United States Air Force. He worked for Roxbury Ready Mix where he retired from in December. He loved to make people laugh and always loved life to the fullest. Ronnie would do anything for a friend or loved one. He loved his westerns, tractors, magic tricks, jokes, and his pets. He will be truly missed. A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, April 24th at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA and interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Monday, April 23rd, at the funeral home.
