LeahRae Roberts Rawson 2018

LeahRae Roberts Rawson LeahRae Roberts Rawson, 75, passed away on April 3, 2018 and was reunited with her husband of 56 years. She was born April 22, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Mary Leah Pace and Charles Raymond Roberts. Leah married Hubert B. Rawson on June 23, 1960, the marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple, he passed away on October 1, 2016. Leah was a member of the LDS Church where she served faithfully in various callings: ward organist, Relief Society Visiting Teacher and was a choir member (with the voice of an angel). She enjoyed crocheting, square dancing (Ace of Clubs), playing piano and organ, spending time with family, cooking/baking for her husband, genealogy, and wii bowling with residents at Lotus Park. Rheumatoid Arthritis took these joys away from her. She had many physical challenges but was always a fighter. Leah is survived by her daughter Carie Stone (Jerry), son Craig Rawson (Teresa); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; mom LouJean Stanger; siblings David Roberts, Bruce Roberts, Ann Brunetti (Steve) and Craig Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert; brother Mark; grandson Tyrell; daughter Karlene; both parents and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the LDS Church located at 3845 So. 2000 W. in Roy. Viewings will be held Monday, April 9th from 6 to 8 pm at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. and Tuesday at the church from 10 to 10:45 am. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the residents and staff at Lotus Park Assisted Living, the staffs at A Step Forward Home Health and Inspiration Hospice.
