Gregory Elliot Sperry June 15 1950 April 24 2018 (age 67)

Gregory Elliot Sperry was born in Nephi, Utah on June 15, 1950 to Samuel J Sperry and Alene Roylance Sperry. He passed away on April 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Greg attended school in Nephi and graduated from Juab High School. He acquired the love of cooking working at Mickelson’s Café. He still enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and birthday dinners for his kids. He moved to Salt Lake and started working construction, first in residential and then commercial. He married Candy Taylor and later divorced, but shared two wonderful children, Tina and Shawn, who were the joy of his life. Greg was an extremely hard worker and proud of his accomplishments, and excited to show them off to friends and family “walk the job.” He was also a practical joker and enjoyed a good gag. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by his children Tina Sperry (Brat Girl), and Shawn Sperry (Brat Boy), his extended family Meredith and Kaeden Edwards, his sisters Sheila Jordison, Janet Bacon (Sistyugler), his two brothers David (Reverse) Sperry (Debbie), and Richard Sperry (Little Hippy) (Brenda), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Samuel J and Alene Sperry, brother Brent Sperry, sister-in-law Sharon Sperry, nephew David Sperry, brother-in-law Richard Bacon, and bestest Aunt Betty. In lieu of flowers, watch a John Wayne movie, drink a beer, tell some stories and hug your kids. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am at Nephi City Cemetery on Friday, April 27, 2018.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gregory Elliot Sperry June 15 1950 April 24 2018 (age 67). Anderson & Goff Mortuary
