Edward Lynn Robinson, aged 71, passed away April 17, 2018. He was born October 30, 1946 to Albert and Mary Evelyn “Eva” Robinson in Salt Lake. He married Karla Bangerter in 1963. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Karla of 54 years, his son, Terry and his daughters, Kim and Kelly, as well as by his 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kenneth Robinson. Ed worked for Peterbilt of Utah for over 40 years as a Diesel Mechanic as well as running a home garage service for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with family. He was a jack of all trades and a measure twice, cut once kind of guy. Ed lived a life that was full of pride, joy, happiness and love. His generosity, work ethic, humility and selflessness are all qualities that those he left behind admired most about him. Ed was a man of few words, but when he did speak you’d hate to miss it. He had a wise crack for every situation. He appeared to be a tough egg, but his shell was very easy to crack. As anyone who knew him will attest, he was always the first to offer a helping hand, but would never be one to ask for help himself. He will be forever remembered by everyone he met. In lieu of flowers, grab a beer, call a friend, tune-up your car, or change your oil. He would like that. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday April 22, 2018 at the Bountiful Elks Lodge located at 544 W 400 N, in Bountiful, UT, from 2:00pm – 6:00pm.
