Darwin LeRoy Hall passed away peacefully on April 17, 2018 at the age of 88. Darwin was born on July 13, 1929 in Georgetown, Idaho to Gilbert Warren Hall and Rebecca Tippetts Hall. He lived most of his life in Pocatello, Idaho where he served as a Mailman, and the Regional Fleet Manger. He married his sweetheart Lois Gene Solomon on November 1, 1949 in Florence, Iowa. Darwin and Lois had one son Mark Howard Hall who preceded them in death. He and Lois loved to travel and spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona. Darwin served his country as a Corporal in the United States Air Force and served in the National Guard. He also served as the State President of the United States Postal Service Workers Union. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on the water. Darwin spent the last 9 years of his life in Utah where he was lovingly cared for by his niece Valorie Hall Wimmer (Kirk). Darwin is preceded in death by both his parents, wife Lois, son Mark, brother Gayle and Sister Beverly. Survived by brother Zan Rodger Hall (MaeDean) and many loving nieces and nephews, some who lovingly called him Grandpa Darwin. Services will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah on April 21, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with military honors. favorite_border Donations Pledges
