Decatur ~ W.B. Woodruff, Jr., 92, a retired lawyer, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 27, 2018 in Decatur. Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church of Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. W.B. was born August 27, 1925 to Willard Bennett and Lera Mae (Stryker) Woodruff in Seymour, Texas. He married Mary Louise Gettys on November 1, 1947 in Decatur, Texas. He is srvived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Louise Woodruff of Decatur; 3 sons, Martin Woodruff and wife Jana of Decatur, Mason Woodruff and wife Karen of Decatur, and Tim Woodruff and wife Joy of Decatur; 2 daughters, Nannette Williams and husband Kevin of Denton, and Nola Woodruff Cocanougher and husband Daniel of Lake Bridgeport.
