A graveside service for Virginia Hagen, age 77, of Rockwall, is scheduled at 1 o’clock in the afternoon Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Union Grove Cemetery in Maydelle. She loved to cook, sew, fish and surf in the Gulf. Virginia was member of First Presbyterian Church in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Pam Meek. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Billy Hagen of Rockwall; son, David Meek and wife Janice of Deer Harbor, Washington; and daughter, Julie Smirl and husband Cody of Liberty Hill. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Aaron Meek, Kathryn Meek, Hannah Smirl and Emily Smirl; and several nieces and nephews.
