Obituary for Rosanne Arredondo Morris
Rosanne Arredondo Morris, of Terrell, passed away March 30, 2018 in Dallas. Rosanne was born Jan. 12, 1978 in Dallas to Felipe and Susie Arredondo. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frankie Arredondo, uncle, Jesse Arredondo, and grandparents: Charles and Charlotte Wright and Tomas and Manuela Arredondo. Rosanne grew up in Terrell and graduated THS in 1996. She then attended Aladdin Beauty College to complete her learning in cosmetology and hair design. Rosanne moved to Tennessee where she studied and became certified as a Medical Coding/Billing Specialist. She then returned to Terrell in 2010 to be near her family, all of whom she missed very much. Rosanne had a dedicated work ethic and she worked at, and became the manager of, the Totes store at Tanger Outlet Mall. She was a longtime member of College Mound United Methodist Church and she was very creative with an eye for colors and décor. She also had a “green thumb” in that she could, and would, grow beautiful plants and flowers to enjoy year-round. Rosanne loved all animals but her passion and devotion was to her family. She was a committed mother to her children and a faithful daughter, sister, aunt and friend to everyone else. Her beautiful smile and spirit will be miss by all and the love she shared with others will be the heritage they all celebrate. Rosanne is survived by her children: Anestasia Arredondo and Montana Morris; parents, Felipe and Susie Arredondo; brother, Chase Arredondo and wife Destiny; former husband, Kenneth Morris; half-siblings: Isabelle Arredondo and Felipe Arredondo, Jr.; sister-in-law, Rebecca Jimenez; niece, Aurora Arredondo; nephew, Kaleb Arredondo as well as numerous other family and a host of friends who loved her and will miss her greatly. Funeral services for Rosanne Arredondo Morris will be 10:30 am Friday April 6, 2018 at College Mound United Methodist Church with interment to follow at College Mound Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday April 5, 2018 at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to a fund set up for her children Anestasia and Montana at the American National Bank, Acct. Number, 4600379525 at any ANB branch.
