Obituary for Charlie Jones Services for Charlie Jones, 60, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating. Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery. Mr. Jones passed away April 28, 2018, in Tyler. He was born January 17, 1958, in Dallas to Cecil Ray & Peggy Ann Gossett Jones. Charlie spent all of his life in Fruitvale and Grand Saline where he worked at Chitty Automotive for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jones of Fruitvale; two sons, Brian Jones and Colton Jones, both of Fruitvale; daughter, Shyann Jones of Fruitvale; five brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Annie Jones, Michael & Sabrina Jones, and Joseph Jones, all of Fruitvale, Landen Jones of Lake Palestine and Vincent Jones of Fruitvale; two sisters, Shelly Jones and Christal & Michael Ferguson, all of Lake Tawakoni; one grandchild, Lucas Tyler Dix; and numerous other relatives and friends.
